To the Editor:

How can people live a normal life when the criminals have taken over the streets? How can we walk down the street when the police are scared to go into a neighborhood.

The article about the bike police makes me think that the mayor needs to ask the governor to send the National Guard into Selma to take the streets back from the criminals.
