Luther Lamont ‘Bo’

Bolding

After a lengthily illness Luther Lamont “Bo” Bolding died, at his residence in Plantersville, Alabama on July 21, 2006.

He was a native of Albertville, Alabama and was preceded in death by his father and mother, John Luther and Ruby Smith Bolding, a brother Therman Dono Bolding, and a sister Jeanette Latham and Rosana Wilkerson, plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Also he is survived by his extended families, W.O., Bobby and Allen Bearden, Jim and Sue Draime and Carey (Tiger) and Susan Jones.

“Bo” was an outstanding athlete in school, which led to a college scholarship to play baseball. “Bo” was a loyal fan to the University of Alabama football team, He was an outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed bow hunting and fishing.

“Bo” served his country as an Air Force mechanic in Germany for 6 years. This experience furthered his gifted mechanical skills enabling him to become associated with several of the large farming operations in the Dallas County area. His mechanical skills led him to becoming a key employee of the Napa corporation for many years.

Special thanks are extended to the doctors, nurses and assistants at the Montgomery cancer center in Selma, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at Lawrence Brown Funeral chapel Monday, July 24, 2006 at 10:00 A.M., With Rev. Terry Beird and Rev. Donald Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Christian Cemetery, Plantersville, Alabama. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Pall bearers are, Jeff Billingsley, Lee Grindle, Dennis Verhoff, Jim Draime, Carey Jones, and Steve Moore.

“Bo” lent a helping hand to everyone. He will be missed by many.

John Taylor, of Selma died on July 21, 2006. Funeral services will be announced later by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Isabel Avery Ford

Isabel Avery Ford, age 95

of Selma, AL crossed over to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 18, 2006.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Kathrine F. Boglin, Selma, AL, Estella Deyampert (Eddie), Springfield, VA, Joe (Giget) Ford, Selma, AL, Dorothy Stallworth (Willie), Nashville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her Husband James Ford and two sons, Charles Edward Massey(Hattie), Selma, AL, and Thomas James Ford(Linda), Selma, AL.

She has 26 Grandchildren, 45 Great-Grandchildren, and 10 Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and close family friends.

She is a Founding and Chartered Member of the Order of Eastern Star, Phyllis Wheatley Chapter 656 PHA, Selma, AL

Visitation with Family Monday, July 24, 2006 – 7 -8 pm at Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Home Going
