William E. Worrell

William E. Worrell, age 74, died Saturday, June 17, 2006 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Linda Tarver officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Worrell is survived by his wife: Ernestine Stone Worrell of Selma; sons: Phillip (Brendia) Worrell of Selma, Hugh Worrell of Selma, Victor (Mary) Worrell of Selma, Edward (Sheila) Worrell of Selma; sister: Betty Jean (Kenneth) Bodiford of Prattville; grandchildren: Buffy Worrell (Jeremy) Moreland of Millbrook, Amy H. (Robert) Moseley of Prattville, Allen W. Worrell of Montgomery, Lisa Head of Selma; great grandchildren: Wesley Groves of Prattville, and Benjamin Moreland of Millbrook.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Worrell Buxton; stepfather, Monroe Buxton; father, Freeman Worrell; brother, James Worrell; and his sister, Joyce Worrell Bruner.

Active Pallbearers will be Jeremy Moreland, Allen Worrell, Charles Huey, Tommy Taylor, James Mitchell, and Wayne Vinson.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 19, 2006 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
