Charles Jarvis

Jr., age 71, of Selma, AL passed away May 30, 3006 at his residence.

Graveside services will be Thursday, June 1, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Daniel Martin officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:00-2:00 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Janice C. Jarvis; two sons, Bryant Scott (Joyce) Jarvis and Michael Bryan (Cheryl) Jarvis; two daughters, Patricia Ann (Tommy) Herrod and Mary Katherine Hudson; two brothers, John Jarvis and Richard Jarvis; two sisters, Alice Felber and Margaret McDonald; nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Michael Jarvis, Doyle Hudson, Matt Long, Ronald Gray, Randy Faulk and Scott Jarvis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cahaba Hospice personnel.

Lanesha Martin

Lanesha Martin, age 41, of Selma, Alabama died on May 29, 2006 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for June 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Provewell Cemetery with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: one daughter, Leiha Prudy; one sister, Kyra L. Sparks; three sisters-in-laws; one niece.

Pallbearers will be Deacons of Providence Baptist Church.

Archie McKinly Jackson, age 81, of Selma, Alabama died on May 27, 2006 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Greater Mt. Calvary AME, Beloit with Rev. Amos Smith officiating. Burial in Rosehill, Cemetery in Beloit with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: wife, Julia Jackson and one son, Iverson Jackson.
