Gary Phillip Green

Gary Phillip Green, age 51, of Selma passed away May 3, 2006.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 5, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Fancher, Rev. Jonathan Lambert, and Rev. Rod Rochester officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in Antioch Methodist Cemetery in Maplesville, AL.

Visitation was held Thursday, May 4, 2006, 6-8:00 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Green; one son, Gary Phillip Green II of Selma, AL; two daughters, Stephanie Green (John) McDonald and Amanda Lynn Green of Selma, AL; his mother, Doris Jean Green; three sisters, Ila Jean (Eddie) Thornton, Genett Draime (Buddy) Bullard and Anita Kay Hopkins all of Selma, AL; two grandchildren, John Austin McDonald and unborn, Haleigh Gail McDonald; three nieces and six nephews; two great nieces and six great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas LeVaughn Green.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Smitherman, Derick Hicks, Bruce Fuller, Boyd Fuller, Jerry Houston, Wilbur Mosley and Dan Edwards.

Clyde E. Caver, age 50, of Autaugaville, Alabama died on April 29, 2006 at Baptist Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Harmony Baptist Church with Pastor Alfonzo Robinson officiating. Burial in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: wife, Maxine Caver; parents, Myrtie Mainor and Ovetta Caver; two sons, Terrence Blackmon and Sheridon Caver; two brothers, Fernandez Ponds and Walter Mainor; one sister, Ovetta Denise Caver; two grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; four brothers-in-laws; one niece and four nephews.

Pallbearers will be classmates.

Leo Mitchell, age 73, of Selma, Alabama died on April 27, 2006 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 1:00 pm at El Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. J.J. Petterson officiating. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery directed by J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Larnetta Graham Smelley McGinnis, age 81, of Selma, Alabama died on April 29, 2006 at Warren Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. C.A. Lett officiating. Burial will follow in Sister Springs Cemetery with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: one son, Charles Smelley; two daughters, Linda Tatum and Marcia Grayson; two brothers, Willie Graham and John Graham; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sons-in-laws, one daughter-in-law, six sisters-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
