William Wilson Bennett

William Wilson Bennett, 92, a resident of Marion, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at the Siloam Baptist Church.

Interment will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Cannon and the Rev. Bill Wallace will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 1 at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Vernon Holifield Bennett of Marion; two daughters, Evelyn Holifield Blake of Montevallo and Janice Holifield Wiley of Texas; sons, the Rev. Donald Bennett of Montgomery and Claude Holifield Jr. of California; a brother, Jake Bennett of California; two grandchildren, Dr. John Bennett and Susan Bennett Lawless; seven step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, John Bennett Jr., Mary Catherine Smith and Marleigh Caroline Smith; six step great great grandchildren; and two step great great great grandchildren.

Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel is arranging the services.

Louise S. Little

Louise S. Little, 83, of Clanton, Ala., died Saturday, April 29, 2006, in Clanton.

She was born Sunday, Aug. 13, 1922, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late George William Sansom and the late Lula Elizabeth Minor Sansom.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Mildred Babin of Maplesville, Mrs. Patsy Helewski of Prattville and

Mrs. Linda Lewellen of Selma; sons, Rembert Little of Stanton and Tommy Little of Maplesville; sisters, Mrs. Gladys Headley of Verbena, Ala., and Mrs. Frances Coe of Clanton; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Services will be held at noon on Monday, May 1, 2006, at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Smith and the Rev. Scott Tuell officiating.

Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma.
