To the Editor:

Parents, teachers and faculty of Southside High School, it was indeed a privilege working with you the 2005-2006 school year.

Being a graduate and supporter of Selma High School, I never dreamed I would be elected vice president of Southside P.T.O.

Even though we have a big problem with a book shortage at Southside High, I’m impressed with this new Dallas County School Board and I will work with the board diligently and make sure every child at Southside High School packs a textbook for each and every class for the upcoming 2006-2007 school year.

Coach Tyler, Mr. Peoples, Coach Williams, Ms. Moore and the ROTC department, keep up the good work. You are the backbone of Southside.
