Taylor Hodgens Reynolds, age 20, departed this life to be with the Lord on April 11, 2006.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.

Friday April 14, 2006 at Church Street United Methodist Church in Selma, officiated by Rev. George Sedberry and Rev. Steve McCary and directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Born in Selma on December 21, 1985, Taylor graduated from Morgan Academy and was attending Shelton State Junior College in Tuscaloosa.

Taylor was active in motorcycle racing on several circuits with his father, brother and friends as team members.

Taylor is survived by his mother, Martha Reynolds, father, Mike Reynolds and his wife Lori, grandmother Betty Jean Reynolds, brother, Kyser Smith and his wife Sheri, and sister, Shelly Ellis and her husband Richard, step-sister, Morgan Hamner and step-brother, Matt Hamner, nieces, Gracie Taylor Smith, Sarah Kyser Ellis, Reynolds Ellis and Isabella Ellis.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Millard Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm T. Wood, niece, Elizabeth Grace, and a nephew, Richard Lee Ellis, III.

Serving as pallbearers will be Landon Carter, Cliff Ousley, Kyle Roberts, Chad Earl, Eric Elam, and Jeff Parke.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Wilkerson, Paul Wilkerson, Van Simpson, Tory Trawick, John Roberts, Dylan Smith, Thomas Powe, Seth Welch, Carston Cagle, Dustin Stevens, Robert Singleman and Jake Brown.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to The RISE Program, Tuscaloosa, Ala., in memory of Taylor.

Huntington

La’Shun Ayrikah Huntington died on April 10, 2006 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, April 13, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include: parents, LaShune Hunter and Joseph Huntington; one brother, Ja’Shun Andrew Huntington; two sisters, Amesiya Shuntay Johnson and Ju’Kyira Unique Huntington; grandparents, Luke and Addie Huntington, Brendolyn Strong; aunts, Nellie Hunter, Robbyn Hunter, Amber Huntington; uncles, Quentin Strong, Aaron (Monique) Huntington and Carlos Hunter.

Deacon Joseph Eaton

Deacon Joseph Eaton, 87, of Selma, Ala., died April 5, 2006 at Vaughn Regional Hospital.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Sandridge Baptist Church with Rev. M.E. Brown officiating. Burial will be at Sandridge Baptist Church. Directed by Lewis Brothers.

Survivors include his wife Lula Eaton; six sons, Jimmie (Deborah) Eaton, Calvin (Faye) Eaton, Charles (Carolyn) Eaton, Walter ( Patricia) Eaton of Rochester, NY, Johnny (Jackie) Eaton, Melvin Eaton of Selma, Al; five daughters, Ethel (Henry) Moyd, Mattie (Willie) Rose, Janie (Charles) Brown of Selma, Al, Betty (Emmett) Walker of Rochester, NY, and Bobbie Eaton of Mobile, Al; one sister, Bella Rice of Mobile, Al; 35 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren,

three brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews & great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.

Family visitation will be Friday night from 7-8p.m at Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Clem J. Newell RET., formerly of Bessemer, Alabama departed this life on April 6, 2006 in Richmond, Virginia.

He is survived by his parents, two sons and one daughter.

Margaret Caroline Lee, age 89, of Marion, AL died on April 11, 2006 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held on April 13, 2006 at 11:00 am at Fairview Cemetery with Kevin Ball presiding. Burial in Fairview Cemetery directed by Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel.
