The event will be held at 8:05 a.m., inside the old gym at Morgan Academy.

Also, in conjunction with the Senators being awarded their rings, one very historic number will be retired.

The No. 35 jersey will no longer be an active number for players to choose after Wednesday.

The No. 35 is significant to the Senator faithful for two reasons &045; Reid McMillion and Brett Holliman.

McMillion made the No. 35 famous during his tenure, 1986-1988. During the 1988 season, McMillion led the Senators to their first of 11 state championships before going on to Auburn University.

Ten years later Holliman donned the jersey and led the Senators to a trio of state championships in consecutive years &045; 1997-99.

Holliman graduated in 1999 and then went on to Auburn University where he was a part of 2004’s unbeaten football team.
