Laura Ethel Martin

Laura Ethel Martin, age 69, of Indian Trail, NC and formerly of Selma, passed away March 11, 2006.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 18, 2006, 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2006, 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery.

She is survived by five sons, James Martin, Frankie Martin, Jerry (Cherie) Martin, Jammie Martin, and Dale Martin; four daughters, Ann (Fred) Stratman, Donna (George) Ferling, Connie (Floyd) Harris and Christine Zerrad; one brother, Jackie Smith; four sisters, Inez Smith, Katalene Young, Ann Barr and Jean Burt; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchiildren.

Pallbearers will be nephews and grandsons.

James W. Clark

James W. Clark, age 60, of Washington D.C., formerly of Selma, died on March 9, 2006 in Washington D.C.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Clark; one daughter, Alicia Matthews; one brother, Legene Clark; five sisters, Patricia Aaron, Rosie Abraham, Equllia Millhouse, Camellia Clark and Alethea Peasant; one uncle, Evan Duncan and a special friend, Brenda of Washington D.C.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Rosie McCord, age 91, of Tyler, AL died on March 9, 2006 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Kevin Williams, age 28, of Maplesville, AL passed away March 14, 2006.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Plantersville, AL with Bro. Carrie Waldrop and Bro. Ron Gordon officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 15, 2006, 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

He is survived by his beloved grandfather, Leo Tennimon of Jones, AL; parents, Cecil and Faye Williams of Maplesville, AL, his beloved wife, Jamie Horn Williams of

Jones, AL, Bubba (Brenda) Williams of Deatsville, AL, Scott (Amber) Williams of Selma, AL, Cecil Williams III of Mapleville, AL and James (Lori) Williams of Burgaw, NC; two sisters, Tammy (Barry) Mehan of Plantersville, AL and Tina (Don) Hooks of Maplesville, AL.

Pallbearers will be Rip Engle, Ron Gordon, Jim Trantham, Ralph Roberts, Kevin Hooks, and Barry Mehan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Harrison, A. C. Champion, David Harrison, Larry Walker, Elton McAfee and Leonard Atchison.
