Erma Jean Cates Wright

Erma Jean Cates Wright, age 85, of Selma, Alabama died on February 16, 2006 at a local Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held on February 20, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with her great-nephew, Rev. Bob Slaughter of Birmingham, officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Family visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home prior to the service.

Mrs. Wright is survived by son, Jack A. (Martha) Wright; granddaughter, Alicia W. (Leon) Smith, all of Selma; grandson, Spc. Allen Z. Wright, Fort Stewart, Hinesville, Georgia; brother, J.D. Cates, Sylcaugua, AL; daughter-on-law, Geraldine K. Wright, Burnsville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phelan Wright and her son, Jerry D. Wright.

Mrs. Wright was a member of First Baptist Church in Selma.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church Street, Selma, AL 36701.

Rosie L. Harden

Mrs. Rosie L. Harden, age 84, of Boligee, Alabama passed away on February 12, 2006 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church in Boligee, Alabama. Elder Maurice Lee, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Taylor Place Cemetery in Boligee, Alabama.

Willie Richardson

Mr. Willie Richardson, age 76, of Demopolis, Alabama passed away in February 6, 2006 at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Larkin & Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Willie Tilman, Eulgoist.
