The Church Street United Methodist Church membership wishes to sincerely thank the citizens of Selma for their generous support for our outreach project, collecting toys for Gulf Coast area children’s Christmas gifts.

We are most grateful to The Selma Times Journal for their consistent announcements and news features, which were most effective in keeping this project in the public’s mind.

We also deeply appreciate the local radio stations, WHBB-WDXX and WALX-WMRK-WJAM, who broadcast the announcements of this activity.

It was certainly heart warming to see the outpouring of compassion and love from participants in all walks of life who contributed to this effort, truly demonstrating the truth of Christmas, heeding God’s call to be in service to the needy.
