Mr. Richard Browder, 64, of Selma died December 1, 2005.

Serivces will be schedule for Saturday December 10 at 1:00p.m. at New Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Moore officiating the service. Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Richard Browder was born on August 3, 1941 to the late Jessie Browder Sr., and Mattie Bell Browder.

Richard was a lover of people. Richard confessed Christ at an early ago and united with the New Shiloh Baptist Church, Potter Station under the leadership of Rev. Griffin and followed by the leadership of Rev. D. M. Moore. He

served as President of the usher board.

Richard departed this life on December 1, 2005 at his home.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Deborah Browder; eight sons, Randell, Reginald (Jeanette), Bruce Browder, Richard Swift, Ron Gayle, Christopher Savage all of Selma, Alabama and Richard (Ronda) Murray of LaGrange, Georgia four daughters, Christine and Barbara Browder of Alberta, Alabama, Tammy Browder of California and Karen Callens of Detroit, Michigan; four brothers, Jesse (Helen), Willie of Se1ma, Alabama, Monroe and Eddie of California; two sisters, Della (Clemmie) Barber of Birmingham, Alabama and Ruby Nell Albert of Boston Massachusetts, thirty grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three daughter-in- laws, six sisters-in-laws, nine brother-in- laws; one uncle, William (Doris) Greene, Springfield, Massachusetts; one aunt, Georgia Aim Sanders of Gaston, Alabama; mother-in-law, Roberta Stubbs of Selma, Alabama; grandmother, Susie Jones of Selma, Alabama; stepfather, Tommie Fulford of Jones, Alabama; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Bell Browder, father, Jessie Browder, Sr., stepmother, Ruby Fulford, father-in-law, Charlie Stubbs, and one brother, Turner Browder.

Chester P. Thomas of Montgomery, Alabama died December 7, 2005. Funeral services will be announced at a later date by Bell Funeral Home.

Calvin William Saunders

Calvin William Saunders, age 79, of Selma, AL passed away

December 7, 2005.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George K. Jones, Jr. officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in Pineview Memory

Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2005 at 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Steve) Reid of Selma, AL; two brothers, Howard (Mary) Saunders and Chuck (Karen) Saunders; one sister, Marguerite Pitts; two grandchildren, McChelle Marie Foster and Shane Miley; two great grandchildren, Matthew Miley and Hannah Elizabeth Miley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie E. Saunders.

Pallbearers will be the Masonic Lodge 926.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Post 20.

Mr. Saunders was retired from the U. S. Air Force.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion.

He loved gardening and fishing.

Mr. Milton J. Jackson, 61, of Forkland, Alabama passed December 4, 2005 at his residence.

Funeral services with Full Military Honors will be held Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 12:00 noon at the Christian Valley Baptist Church,

Boligee, Alabama. Family hour will be held Friday from 6-7p.m at the funeral home chapel.

Nathaniel (Red) Thomas

Nathaniel (Red) Thomas, 73, of Selma, Alabama died December 5, 2005 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 1p.m at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. C.F. Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood cemetery. Directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Queenie Lanier

Queenie Lanier, 86, of Jones, Alabama died December 5, 2005 at Prattville Baptist Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 12:00 noon at New Salem Baptist Church, Jones, Alabama, with Rev. Johnny Davis officiating. Burial in Harris Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, six daughters, one brother, 24 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, five sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law and a host of nephews and nieces. Pallbearers are the Grandsons.
