Mr. William Green of Marion, Alabama died November 27, 2005.

Clarence King

Elder Clarence King, 80, of Selma, Alabama died November 26, 2005 at a local hospital.

Services are scheduled for December 3, 2005 at 12:00 noon at Brightist Star That Shines Church of Jesus Christ with Minister Willie Shelton officiating the service. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery. Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Patricia Nelson Kyser

Patricia Nelson Kyser died Saturday, November 26, 2005 at home in Kirkwood by the River, Birmingham. Mrs. Kyser was the widow of Joseph Alison Kyser.

Mrs. Kyser was born November 9, 1922 in Sumter County, Alabama, daughter of the late Thomas McDowell Nelson and Louise Prather Nelson. She was a graduate of the University of Alabama in 1944 and married Mr. Kyser on July 25, 1944. They made Greensboro their home in 1946.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Alison (Ann) Kyser, Jr., of Greensboro, Patricia Nelson Kyser (Joseph Smith) of Carrboro, North Carolina, William Townsend (Beverly) Kyser II, of Greensboro, Laura Cornelia Kyser of Orlando; sister, Mary Nelson (John) Giddens of New Orleans; sister-in-law, Halsa Kyser Owens of Carlowville, Jean Reynolds Kyser of Carlowville and Dorothy Smith Nelson Boyd of Livingston; grandchildren, Joseph Chistopher (Edie) Kyser of Tuscaloosa, William Townsend (Kelly) Kyser of Greensboro, Alison Anita Kyser of Alabaster, Ashley Davies Kyser of Greensboro and Spencer Alison Kyser of Tuscaloosa.

A memorial service was held Sunday, November 27, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Greensboro. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Endowment Fund, c/o Reid Lawson, Trustee, Peoples Bank of Greensboro, P.O. Drawer 520, Greensboro, Alabama 36744.
