Cathey Louise Solomon Lee, age 50, of Valley Grande, died Monday,

November 21, 2005 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 25, 2005 at the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating and Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Lee is survived by husband James Goodman of Valley Grande, mother Edna Aline Solomon &8220;Pete&8221; of Browns, Sons; Maurice (Susan) Lee Jr., Kenneth Wayne (Hollie) Lee, and Chris (Victoria) Lee all of Selma, daughters; Marcia Lynn (Chris) Mahan of Clanton, and Tabitha (Tony) Wade of Jones, 13 grandchildren and one on the way, 1 great-grandchild, brothers Mitch Solomon of Browns, Tim Solomon and Wes (Jackie) Solomon all of Selma, and sister, Kay (Ken) Hicks of Browns.

She was preceded in death by husband Maurice Lee Sr. and sister-In-law Wynema Solomon.

Pallbearers will be Tim Solomon, Mitch Solomon, Wes Solomon, Ken Hicks, Tony Wade, and Steve Lawrence.

Family visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at the funeral home.

Clarence &8220;Jamal&8221; Young

Clarence &8220;Jamal&8221; Young, 50, of Mount Vernon, New

York died November 17, 2005 at Mount Vernon Hospital.

Services are scheduled for November 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Northport, Al., 701 Martin Luther King Blvd with Rev. Joe C. Wills officiating the service. Burial will follow at West Highland

Memorial Gardens. Directed by Wills Funeral Service.

Survivors include his mother Bernice Cauthen; two sons Kamal Collins and Jibreel Young; two daughters Melody Young and Janel Young; one sister Wendy Young.

He was a graduate of Alabama Lutheran Academy in 1974.
