Autaugaville High School Eagles (9-0) @ Dallas County High School Hornets (2-7)

The 1A regional champion Autaugaville Eagles will attempt to put the finishing touches on a perfect season with a Thursday night victory over rival, Dallas County before playing in the first round of the playoffs the following week. The Dallas County Hornets have been forced to watch the playoffs for the time in a handful of years after crucial losses saddled them in the No. 8 slot in Regional 4.

Location: Dallas County High School in Plantersville

Southside High School Panthers (5-4) @ Keith High School Bears (1-8)

Coaches: Christopher Raymond | Harry Crum

Breakdown: This is a rival game between a pair of Dallas County Schools. This will also be a tune up game before the Panthers make the first round road trip to Cleburne County. The Panthers ended their season with a pair of wins to secure them the No. 4 slot in the Region 4 standings. The Keith High Bears have had to deal with injuries and youth, and have been in every game they’ve played this season, notching a victory over R. C. Hatch midway through the season.

Wilcox Central High School Jaguars (4-5) @ Selma High School Saints ( 3-5)

Coaches: John Moton | Woodrow Lowe, Jr.

Breakdown: Wilcox Central is out of the playoffs and playing for pride and getting ready for basketball season. The Selma High Saints however, have a large question mark surrounding their postseason plans. Depending on a ruling by the AHSAA on an appeal by Sidney Lanier High School, the Saints could be on their way to the playoffs to face Enterprise High School. But for now, their focus is on winning their first home game since Week 3. It’s also their homecoming.

Billingsley High School Bears (4-3) @ Maplesville High School Red Devils (7-2)

Breakdown: The Billingsley Bears are going to be on the outside looking in during the playoffs. So far, the Bears are fifth in their region behind Calera in fourth and three-way tie for the first three slots between Gordo, Pickens County and Vincent. The Maplesville Red Devils are in the playoffs in 1A and will travel in the first round to Sweet Water High School.

Meadowview Christian Trojans (6-3) @ Morgan Academy Senators (8-1)

Breakdown: The Meadowview Christian Trojans were upended last weekend in their first out of region game of the season, losing to South Choctaw Academy. The Senators are currently on an eight game tear including a victory over Fort Dale Academy which secured them home field and a divisional championship.

Central Christian Academy Warriors (3-5) @ Cornerstone Christian Chargers (4-4)

Breakdown. Had CCA knocked off MMI last week, this game would have been a play-in for the fourth and final spot in Class A behind Southern and Shelby. But, the Warriors fell on their homecoming to the Cadets, securing Cornerstone the No. 3 slot and Sumter the fourth spot.
