Good things come in pairs. At least that was the philosophy when the Chamber of Commerce teamed with the Easter Seal West Central Alabama Rehab Center to put on a golf tournament at Ocmulgee Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon.

The Tournament was broken down into a trio of flights.

At the end of the day, the Leet/Mooney squad won the championship flight, followed by State Farm/Dale May in second and Edwards and Wilkinson in third.

In the second flight, Blue Cross/Blue Shield posted the victory followed by Marion Bank in second place and then the Camden Crew finished third.

In the third flight, the Regions Bank squad finished first followed by Bama Bud in second and Pinebelt Wireless in third place.

This year’s tournament was held at Ocmulgee Golf Course.

In other areas, tournaments like this are held at more expensive golf courses and country clubs.

That fun was displayed on some of the hole challenges.

David Cothran won a prize for the longest drive on No. 3.

Ray Gray landed closest to the pin on No. 15.

Ira Waggoner took home a prize for landing closest to the pin on No. 7.

Steve Spivey had the longest putt of the day on No. 18.
