Carroll M. Thomas Sr.

Carroll M. Thomas, Sr., 73, died Sunday, October 16, 2005 in a Montgomery hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Jack Lovelace officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Millie Thomas; sons, Michael (Teresa) Thomas and Carroll M. Thomas, Jr., Grandchildren, Mitchell Thomas, Jeremy Thomas, Tessa Thomas and Johnaca Kelley; mother, Merle Thomas; sisters, Norma (A.V.) Agerton and Faye (Phil) Ouellet; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Mr. Thomas R. Miller, Jr., age 57 of 400 West

Pettus Street, Demopolis, AL. died Friday, October 14, 2005 in Demopolis, AL.

Graveside services will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Demopolis Memorial Gardens Demopolis, Alabama with Rev. Aaron Raulerson officiating. Kidd -Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis, AL. in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Jones Webb and his Father, Thomas R Miller, Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda H. Miller of Demopolis, AL; one daughter. Sara M. (Billy Joe) Webb of Demopolis, AL; one son, Thomas Richard (Alicia) Miller III of Demopolis, AL; mother, Sara Webb Miller (Ellis) Files of Demopolis, AL; one sister, (Gertrude Miller (Ramon) Perdue of Chattanooga, TN; a very special aunt, Carolyn Webb Clinkscales of Demopolis, AL; five Grandchildren, Danielle Miller of Livingston, AL., Hannah Kathryn Webb, Webb Thomas Miller, Caroline Brooke Webb and Charles Gray Miller all of Demopolis, AL; one niece and two nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Baker, Fred Schoenrock, Dale Smith, Bob McCants, Melvin Abrams, Norman Allen Lewis, Elmer Pruitt, Mike McKinney, Dr. Keith Dismukes, Dr. Paul Ketcham, Jeff Fendley, Warren O’Shields, Mike Bell, Gary Elliott, David Freeman, and Paul Vice.

Mr. Miller was a native of Montgomery, AL. and a resident of Demopolis. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, retired employee of Alabama Power at the Greene County Steam Plant and served in the United States Army.
