Leonard Hershel Morgan

Mr. Leonard Hershel Morgan, 67, of Calera, Al., passed October 14, 2005 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. Services will be scheduled for Sunday, October 16 at 2 pm at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo, Al. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens.

He was survived by four daughters, Cammie Wilkinson of Selma, Jennifer Morgan of Calera, Kathy Johnson of Gadsden and Tina Smith of Selma; five sons, Kent Morgan of Selma, Kelvin Morgan of Selma, Bill Johnson of Jemison, Bobby Johnson of Calera and Mike Johnson of Calera; one sister, Barbara Ledbetter of Selma; one brother, Robert Morgan of Calera; one grandchild, Hunter Wilkinson and a host of other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jeane and a son Keith Morgan.

Mr. Morgan was retired from Construction work.

Donna Jean Thompson

Donna Jean Thompson, 51, of Dallas County died October 13, 2005 at Vaughn Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for October 17, 2005 at Ward Chapel AME Church officiated by Rev. Michael Henson. Directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Survivors include her mother Lillie Thompson; three brothers, Robert (Helen) Thompson of Maplesville, Al., Tyrone (Cynthia) Thompson of Jones, Al., Stephen Thompson, Atlanta, GA; one sister, Linda (Marcus) Bowens,

Vienna, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Thompson. She was an active member of Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church. She was a teacher at DSCAA Headstart program. Visitation will be Sunday, October 16, from 5pm-6pm.
