Mae Frances Fulford

Mae Frances Fulford, age 72, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2005 at Plantersville Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Beaird and Rev. Glen Walker officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Fulford is survived by her husband, Claude M. Fulford of Plantersville; son, Claude Patrick (Susie) Fulford of Eclectic; daughters, Pamela F. (Percy) Baughn of Plantersville and Pandora F. (Richard) Moseley of Selma; two grandchildren, Kris (Jennifer) Fulford and Brandon Baughn; one great-grandchild McKinley Grace Fulford; two brothers, Jackie (Rita) Heifner of Tuscaloosa and Olin (Betty) Heifner of Irondale; a sister Barbara (Huey) Nichols of Plantersville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Ann Fulford and her parents, Guy and Lora Lee Heifner.

Pallbearers will be Kris Fulford, Byron Heifner, Larry Carter, Darren Atchison, Mac Martin, and Bill Fulford.

Rev. John C. Richardson

Rev. John C. Richardson, age 73, of Demopolis, Alabama passed August 21, 2005, at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2005, at 1:00 p.m.. at the New Covenant Millennium Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Lacornia Harris, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama.

Public viewing will be held Friday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.

Derrick C. Simmons

Derrick C. Simmons, age 43, of Gallion, Alabama, formerly of Demopolis, Alabama passed August 23, 2005, at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2005, at 12:00 Noon at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Henry Thompson, Pastor. Rev. Charles Phillips, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama.

Public viewing will be held Friday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 11:00 A.M. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.

Hazel Myrtis Swindle Kinard, 71, of Marion, AL, died Thursday, August 25, 2005.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel, Saturday, August 25. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bernice Billingsley

Bernice Billingsley, 79, of Marion Jct., died Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at a Selma hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 24, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Marion, AL, with the Rev. Cleauther Billingsley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.

Clarence King Jr.

Clarence King Jr., of Lima, Ohio, died Thursday, August 18, 2005.

Funeral will be held Saturday, August 24, at Union Baptist Church in Marion, AL, the Rev. Richard Bryant, pastor and the Rev. L. C. Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.

Ethel Phillips

Ethel Phillips, 50, formerly of Dale, Miss., died Sunday, August 22, 2005.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2005, at Providence Baptist Church in Marion, AL, with the Rev. Clifford Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.

Myles Edward Green, 62, formerly of Marion, AL, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005, in Detroit, Mich.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Marion, AL with the Rev. Searcy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
