Geneva White Martin

Geneva White Martin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend was summoned home on Wednesday, August 3, 2005.

Please come and celebrate her homegoing on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at West Trinity Baptist Church, with Reverend A. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Fred Martin Sr.; three children, Mabel Reddick, Jeanette (Johnny) Moss of Selma, AL, Rosalyn (Clarence) Hatcher of Valdosta, GA; a special daughter, Irene B. Johnson of Selma, AL; two brothers, Clarence (Mary) White of Jasper, AL, Cecil (Evelyn) White of Germany; four sisters, Eryn Moore of Louisville, KY, Jewell White of Jasper, AL, Mabel (James) Henderson of Lithonia, GA, Jean (Lou Walter) Gunn of Opelika, AL; two brother-in-laws, Malachi Martin and C.D. Martin both of Selma, AL; 11 grandchildren, Rosalyn Humphries of Bowie, Maryland, Coren Wilson, Joslyn Reddick, Johnny (Sharonoa)Moss III, Niko (Karen) Ryu all of Selma, AL, Julius Martin, Karyn Reddick and Jarvis Moss of Montgomery, AL, Troye (Reginald) Thigpen of Roswell, GA, Ebonye (Herman) Bennett and Kori Hatcher of Stone Mountain, GA; six great-grandchildren and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Classie L. Butler

Classie L. Butler, 74, of Orrville, died Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at her home.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 6, at Mt. Olive P.B. Church, Marion Jct., with the Rev. E.L. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert H. Butler; one daughter, Edna L. Hinson of Bessemer; one brother, Rev. E.J. Robinson of Birmingham; one sister, Lucenda Lanier of New York, N.Y.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one son-in-law; William Hinson; and one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ross.

Zack Arrington

Zack Arrington, 77, of Dallas County, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, at a local nursing home.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 6, at Spring Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Franklin and the Rev. Demus Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include five sons, Zack Arrington Jr., Charles Brooks, Joe Arrington, Randy Brooks and Larry Brooks; nine daughters, Barbara Harris, Mildred Kent, Shirley McCary, Elaine Lawrence, Emma Billrew, Sallie Wilson, Gertrude Arrington, Arutha Thomas and Marie Thomas; six brothers, David Arrington, Charlie Harris, Roosevelt Brown, Samuel Harris, Nathiel Harris and Paul Lenning; six sisters, Bessie Garner, Millie Shanks, Willie Mae Dow, Josephine Harris, Ethel Smoke and Hattie Pettaway; 45 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four sons-in-law; two daughters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.

Lewis Billingsley

Lewis Billingsley, 74, died Monday, August 1, 2005, in Perry County.

Services will be held at 12 noon Friday, August 5, at Hopewell Baptist Church, Marion, with the Rev. Clearthur Billingsley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include one son, Anthony Billingsley; three daughters, Betty Billingsley-Overstreet, Jackie Williams and Patricia Billingsley; two sisters, Emma Stephens and Mary Brooks; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law; one daughter-in-law; one brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jimmy Miree, formerly of Marion, died Friday, July 29, 2005, in Beaumont, Texas.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005, at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Heard Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.

Addie L. Connor

Addie L.&8220;Tab&8221; Connor, age 39, of Demopolis, Alabama passed August 2, 2005, at Tuscaloosa hospital.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2005, at 12:00 Noon at the Eastern Star Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama, with the Rev. Terry Gosa officiating. Interment will follow in Limestone Cemetery, Gallion.

The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopo1is, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.

Hazel Louise Kynard Ingram, age 63, of Selma, passed away August 3, 2005.

Graveside services will be at Pineview Memory Gardens, Saturday, August 6, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Joshua Gill officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2005, 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

She is survived by one son, Oliver Lee Ingram, Jr.; one daughter, Joyce (Harry) Rylee; one brother, Elmer (Alma) Kynard; three sisters, Francis Bowden, Bernice (Henry) Gill and Mary (Bill) Moore; eight grandchildren, Tony Rylee, Timmy Rylee, Noah Rylee, Lee White, Chris Ingram, Randy Ingram, Robert Ingram and Debra Jean Reel; and one great grandchild, Logan Reel; one son-in-law, Johnny Rivers and one sister-in-law, Bessie Cobb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Elizabeth Kynard; her husband, Oliver Lee Ingram, Sr.; a daughter, Alice Nell Ingram Rivers; four brothers, Emmett Kynard, Billy Kynard, Charles Kynard and Coolige Cobb.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Rylee, Tony Rylee, Tommy Swindle, Randy Ingram, William Sanders and Bryan Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Ingram, Chris Ingram, Lee White and Wyatt Sanders.
