to host Kickoff

The Selma Quarterback Club’s membership drive is about to kick into full gear as the group is now less than two weeks away from their kickoff meeting on Aug. 16.

As of Tuesday night, at their weekly business meeting, the club currently stands at 142 members.

This year’s Quarterback Club meetings will kickoff on Aug. 16 with Charlie Trotman and Steadman Shealy as the speakers. Shealy and Trotman both played college football at Auburn University and the University of Alabama.

Both ended their playing days and earned law degrees and as a result have been pushing other college athletes to consider

earning law degrees.

Applications for entry into the Quarterback Club are still available.
