Linnie M. Olds

Linnie M. Olds, 91, of Valley Grande, passed away Monday, June 13 at her home.

She is survived by three sons, Clyde M. Olds, Jr. (Cappy) of New Braunfels, TX, Charles B. Olds (Jacqueline) of Largo, FL, and Malcolm D. Olds (Cindy) of Buras, LA; five daughters, Sylvia Carter (David) of Sautee, GA., Jean Griffin and Josephine Smith of Midway, GA., Gwen Cook (Roy) of Durango, CO., and Margaret Wells (Harold) of Valley Grande; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 16, at 1:00 p.m.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, at Lawrence-Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend George Birchler officiating. Burial will follow in Bell’s Cemetery in Browns, AL with Lawrence-Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, Van Carter, Chad Cook, John Griffin, Wil Griffin, Malcolm Olds, Jr., Scott Olds, Benjamin Wells and Bryan Wells.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations are made to Woodland Heights Presbyterian Church in America, 420 Summerfield Road, Selma, AL 36701.
