Jacqueline Diana Peterson, died Friday, June 10.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, June 15, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Armstrong and Bishop Robert L. Vinson officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery with Walker Mortuary directing.

She is survived by her daughter, Christian Tiffany Martin (Ellenwood, GA); son, Lorenzo Vincent Martin (Ellenwood, GA), sisters, Beverly Peterson Landers (Hayward), Selma, Brenda Peterson Fuller (Isaac), Detroit, MI, Patricia Peterson Abrahams, Jackson, NJ, Eddie Mae Peterson, Selma, Cherry Hatcher Abrahams (Vernon), Rex, Georgia; brothers, Stanley Peterson, Los Angeles, CA, Hupert Peterson (Lenora), Abilene, TX, Dr. Vance Peterson (Marilyn), Boca Raton, FL, Lester Peterson, Compton, CA, and Edmore Hatcher (Diane), Carson, CA; a sisterly niece, Tina Davenport Hunter (Charles), Dallas, TX; three special aunts, Josephine Peterson, Selma, Essie Singleton, Selma and Maple Lamar, Sandyfield, Texas; two special uncles, Melvin Johnson (Mattie), Buffalo, NY, Woody Johnson, Buffalo, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Eddie and Inez Peterson of Selma.

Linnie M. Olds

Linnie M. Olds, 91, of Valley Grande died Monday, June 13 at her home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Etoy Averette Summerlin

Etoy Averette Summerlin,

86, of Selma died Saturday, June 11 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 14 at Pineview Assembly of God, Marion, AL, officiated by Rev. Thomas Fondren and Rev. Stephen Moore and directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc.

She is survived by her children, Carol Leonard of Valley Grande, Lee Smith of Winter Haven, FL, Bobby Cochran of Selma, and Gerald Wayne Cochran of Selma; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nubern Summerlin.

Active pallbearers will be Searcy Averette, James Oscar Averette, Arthur Wade Averette, Ronald Smith, Sid Harris, and Bubba Smith.

Murry Rives

Murry Rives, died Monday, June 13 in a Montgomery hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Elkdale Baptist Church.
