Cynthia Darlene Christensen

Cynthia Darlene Christensen, age 46, of Selma died Sunday May 29, 2005. She is survived by her loving and loyal companion, Robin Davis; one aunt, Shirley Paoli; cousins, Chris and Charlie Paoli; numerous family and friends. Mrs. Christensen was a longtime employee of Raytheon Aerospace; she was Ruby status with the FFA, and retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service.

George Kyser, died Saturday, June 04, 2005 at a local nursing home. Arrangements will be announced at a later time by Lawrence Funeral Home.

Claudine Richardson

Claudine Richardson, 68, of Selma, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at her home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Northern Heights Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Reginald Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include “one” special son, Henry Pitts; “one” special daughter-in-law, Sister Pitts; two daughters, Doraella Jones and Addie M. Richardson; “three” special daughters, Mary Margaret Mims (Mark Mims) Grace Henry (Johnny Henry) and Emily Alexander (Weir Alexander); one sister, Ella Mae Lyons; three grandchildren, devoted granddaughter, Tamecca (Lee) Radford, Keshonda Tripp; grandsons, Matthew McConnell and Maurice McConnell; one great-grandson, Le’Tavious Radford; nine nephews; nine nieces; two special cousins, Louise Reese and David Savage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Richardson and Sarah Richardson, one son, Matthew Richardson, one brother, James Richardson, one sister, Earline Lewis.

Ms. Richardson was a Presbyterian and a private worker.

Ann Morgan Rogers

Ann Morgan Rogers, 69, of 1029 Valley Forge Rd., Tuscaloosa, died May 31, 2005.

Services were held June 2, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Gainesville, AL with the Rev. Kevin Cauley officiating and Bumpers Funeral Home of York directed.

Visitation was held at the family home in Gainesville following the service.

Survivors include her husband, John A. Rogers III; sons, John A. Rogers, IV (Christine) of Mobile and Morgan B.A. Rogers of Jackson; daughter, Carol Lee R. Cross (John) of Tuscaloosa; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Tuscaloosa at 900 Greensboro Ave., Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 and the Gainesville Cemetery Fund in Gainesville, AL 35464.
