Rehab Associates scored six runs in the first inning to beat Athlete’s Foot 15-9 in 7-and 8-year old baseball action on May 15. Davian Brantley scored three runs, and Cyron Ellis, Kahnel Oliver, and Byron Montgomery each scored two runs in the win. For Athlete’s Foot, Jacquan Simmons, Cody Bohannon, Braxton McLain, Bernard Vasser, Tyler Ellington, Tristen Myles, Will Elliot, Justin Bender, and James McCrary all scored one run.

Fuller Building 17, Captain D’s 5

Fuller Building beat Captain D’s 17-5 on May 25. John Pettway, Trey Ford, and Kyle Friday each scored three runs. Will Sherrer and Ben Davis both scored two runs in the win. For Captain D’s, Harrison Adams, Kareem Hammad, J.R. Wood, Luke Reynolds, and Witt Lester all scored one run.

9- and 10- year old

Taylor IM 21, Pepsi 7

Tim Fields, Jamarious Shanks, TyReem Cooper, and Keyonta Page each scored three runs to lead Taylor Internal Medicine over Pepsi 21-7 on May 26. Antonio Jemison, Demarrius Smith, and Jamund Martin each scored two runs in the win. For Pepsi, Corey Hayes, Wyatt Sanders, Justin Chandler, Hunt Schrer, Rod Bryant, John Robertson, and Austin Farley all scored one run.

Carquest Auto 15, Elks Lodge 14

Carquest Auto used 16 hits to come from behind to beat Elks Lodge 15-14 on May 26. Lance Krunosky had four hits followed by Kendal Smith with three hits. Michael Ward, Tequan Salvage, and Casey Pullom had two hits each while Shazad Ali, Brandon Baughn, and Brumley Oglesby added one hit each. For Elks Lodge, Jabari Moore and Darrius Hawkins had three hits each followed by Isiah Perry, Jadarrian Minnefield, Alden Pettway, and Chris Jackson with two hits each. Alexander Burton and Leonard Ervin had one hit each in the losing effort.

11- and 12- year old

WHBB 7, Mr. Roy’s 6

Devonta Cleveland had two hits followed by Jarvis Moore, George Michael Rowe, Darrius Patterson, and Michael Moore Jr. with one hit each to help WHBB beat Mr. Roy’s 7-6 on May 26. Dexterio Norris was the winning pitcher. For Mr. Roy’s, Trevarious Moore and Nathan Ellis Jr. had two hits while Cody Griffin, Thomas Curtis, and Chris Smith had one hit each. Moore was the losing pitcher.

Turner Motor 7, A.G. Edwards 4

Wilbert McConico struck out seven through three innings to take the win on the mound in Turner Motor’s win over A.G. Edwards 7-4 on May 26. McConico singled and scored in the top of the second inning to give Turner Motor the early 1-0 lead. A.G. Edwards came back with two runs in the bottom half of the inning. Robin Smyly walked and scored on a double by Justin Moreland who also scored later in the inning. Turner Motor tied the game 2-2 in the third inning. Byron Hall reached on an error and scored. In the fourth inning, Timothy Thomas walked and Smyly singled, and both scored to give A.G. Edwards a 4-2 lead. In the fifth inning, Anthony Thompson was hit by a pitch and scored to cut Turner Motor’s deficit to one run. In the top of the sixth inning, Antari Dukes walked and came around to score the tying run. Anthony Watson walked and scored on a triple by Alexander Peoples. Peoples also came around to score. Jamerius Brown reached on an error and scored on a single by Michael Perryman to make the final score 7-4.

13- and 14- year old

Talton 12, Pilcher McBride 10

Ladarius Neely pitched all six innings for Talton in their 12-10 win over Pilcher McBride on May 24. Brian Donovan had two doubles, and Nicholas Mabien had two hits, including a triple, and an RBI. For Pilcher McBride, Randall Hamilton had a triple and two RBI. Will Ingram was the losing pitcher.

Family Medicine 7, Talton 3

Justin Ravizee had two singles and an RBI to lead Family Medicine over Talton 7-3 on May 25. Rashawn Walker had a single and two RBI, and Daniel Lee had a single. John Hurt singled and scored two runs, and Thomas Austin singled in a run in the win. Austin was the winning pitcher. For Talton, Brian Donovan had a triple and an RBI, and LaDarrius Neeley and LaRon Ellis both doubled in the losing effort. Donovan was the losing pitcher.
