Custom Rim and Tire, led by Deanna Steele and Payton Reese’s combined four runs cruised to a 19-4 victory over the Exchange Club in 13-and 14-year old softball action on May 25.

Custom also got run support from Ashley Linden, Jakesha Thrash, Ashley Grimes and Shamera Thomas with two runs each. For their opponents from the Exchange Club, Jessica Spears, Quintella Bender, Tiffany Callens, Erica Caldwell and Shankeria Edwards each scored runs. In other action from the ballpark:

13-and14-year old

1st Ave., 10, McDonald’s 0

Chanise Bouler, Colysia Chestnut and Shayla Griffin accounted for six of the First Avenue Cleaner’s 10 runs in the victory on May 25.

Lee 20, Glass House 4

Jessica Moore, Ashley Anders and Martina Goings combined for nine runs in Lee Kawasaki’s 20-4 romp through the Glass House Restaurant’s defense on May 25. Kristiannna Sasser, McKinsey Crawford, Keyetta Patterson and Micala Peterson each finished the night with two runs. For the Glass House Restaurant squad, Liddy Ngirailab had two of the team’s four runs.

11-and 12-year old

Quality Trophies 14, Kiwanis 4

Africa Tyler made her presence felt in Quality Trophies 14-4 win over the Kiwanis club on May 25. Tyler accounted for three runs, leading the team in scoring. Porche Miller,

Kayla Williams, Emily Cleveland and Jasmine Gould helped with the run support, adding two each. For Kiwanis Katie Cooper had half of the team’s runs, finishing the night with two.

April Clark and Myralia Rose scored two runs each as D&J Discount exposed Photography by David, 8-1 on May 25. Mary Peyton Zimmerman scored David’s only run of the night.

9- and 10- year old

IP 15, D&D 11

Jasmine Sanders and Lindsey Patton scored three runs each as International Paper bests D&D Pest Control, 15-11 on May 25. Logan Towns, Bryanna Atkinson and Amy Persinger tacked on additional runs to lead the International Paper team to their victory. For D&D Pest, KeKe Lgoan and Stephanie Parton combined for six runs. Chelsea Smith and Lexis Neely finished the night with two each.

Ken’s 14, Auto Beauty 5

Jamie Horton, Krystal Aultman, Amber Black, Mary Peyton Deer and Jurni Owden scored two runs each to push Ken’s General Store #4 ahead of the Auto Beauty squad on May 25.

Shaquira Livingstone finished the night with two runs as Auto Beauty came up short.

7-and 8-year old

Rotary 17, Dallas Ave., 6

Morgan Lanier and Jashaun Davis finished the night with a combined six runs, leading the Rotary Club to a 17-6 victory over the squad from Dallas Avenue Pharmacy on May 25. Irishia Moore finished the game with two runs on the scoreboard for Dallas Avenue.

13-and 14-year old

Screenco 14, Lee 7

Nateisha Caver, Shequavia Johnson, Mildrea Harris and Shabrier Minnifield finished the night with two runs each to lead Screenco to a 14-7 victory over Lee Kawasaki on May 24. For Lee, Martina Goings blasted her second home run of the season &045; a two run moonshot. Ashley Anders, Kristianna Sasser, Martina Goings, Tharnira Kashat, Micala Peterson, Jessica Allday and Ashley Smith each scored runs in the losing effort.

Custom 17, 1st Ave., 12

Ashley Grimes and Shamera Thrash each scored three runs to lead Custom Rim and Tire to a 17-12 victory over the First Avenue Cleaners on May 24.

Kelsey Nelson, Deanna Steele and Payton Reese finished the night with two runs. Custom had jumped out to a big lead, but First Avenue clawed their way back into the game. The orange clad visitors ultimately came up short despite getting runs from Shayla Griffin, Terica Hooks and Monica Fulller.

11-and 12-year old

Leonard 6, Victor 5

Summer Pugh scored two runs as Leonard Electric proved to be one run better than Victor Nissan, 6-5 on May 24. Kerissa Deese finished the night with a pair of runs for Victor Nissan.

D&J 2, Felton 1

D&J Discount pushed ahead 2-1 with runs from April Clark and Rashida Edwards on May 24. For Felton Family Medicine, Jharneria Moorer scored the lone run.
