Anderson’s four runs lifts Bankers to 22-10 victory

Derion Anderson crossed the plate four time off of four hits to help lead People’s Bank to their 22-10 win over Rountree Electric inn 5-and 6-year old baseball action on May 21. Reginald Simmons and George Jones added to win with hits and defense. For Roundtree Electric CJ Pullom had to run off of two hits. Teammates Derion Atchison and Joseph Lolley had hits and played defense.

Tayari 10, Discount Tire 8

Ty Albright, David Clay, Dontravious Suttles and Damien Murry all went to bat twice scoring two runs each for Tayari Mortgage. Dashawn barrow had a hit and score. For Discount Tire Ivan Williams had two runs off of two hits. Tyquarious Murry had two hits scoring two runs. Timmy Mires added to efforts with two hits and a score.

Cosby Ice 16, Mr. Roy’s 7

Allen Todd started the game playing on defense for Cosby Ice. He scored off of a hit. Phillip Peaks had two singles scoring twice. Ryan Stokes and Will Brackin added to win on defense. For Mr. Roy’s Jamar Pritchett had two score off of two hits. Fredriquz Richardson crossed the plate scoring twice and teammate Deondra Edwards had a hit and a score.

Ray Davis 20, Henderson

Tanner Anderson and Evan Glaze both went three for three hitting a homerun in the third inning for Ray Davis on May 21. Darrell Moorer and Sawyer Hopkins had three hits scoring three runs. For Henderson Chiropractic four runs came off the bats of Parker Little, Benton Taylor, Jim Pettway and Matt Williams. Teammates Chris Doss and Alex Perk played defense.

Johnson 13, Smitherman 1

There was three homeruns off the bats of Anthony Strong, Alex Johnson and Dee Jones which helped lead Johnson Paint & Body to their win on May 21. Kobi Morrow and Lorenzo Hunter had hits and scores. For Smitherman Bros. Construction the only score of the day came off the bat of Kieland Goodwin. Keandre Rutledge and Tavaris Bellamy had hits and played defense in team’s efforts.

Moose 19, Taylor Sports 5

Chase Mayo led the hits with two homeruns and a double scoring three runs for Moose Lodge in their win on May 21. Martino Moore followed with a homerun and single. Jess smith went three for three. For Taylor Sports Josh Criswell was lead off batter with two hits and scores. Paul Daniels had three hits and a score. Chance Lindsey and Jackson Jones had hits and played defense

Evans 8

Dallas Ave. Pharmacy had three homeruns off the bats of Dalton Lee, Ford Manderson and Martezz Simpson in their win on May 21. Teammates Chase Cammack and Trae Walker had hits. For Evans Chiropractic Alan Gaylor had two runs off of two hits. Cody Edwards and Devin Denson had hits and played defense. Dustin Horton had a hit and score.

Lauderback 9, Southtrust

Dyland Lawrence hit Lauderback’s only homerun to help lead them to their win on May 21. Jay Fletcher had three hits and two runs. Mark Jones had three hits scoring two runs. Ricky Austin added to win on defense. For Southtrust Bank the only runs of the day came off the bats of teammates Mark Bunogg, Justin Smith and Jesse Hogue. Chase Girlie and Joelton Smith played on defense in team’s efforts.

Victor 17, Taylor IM 4

Taz Eaton had two hits scoring two scores to help lead Victor Nissan to their win over Taylor Internal Medicine on May 21. Preston Pritchett had three hits scoring the same and teammate Aaron Drake added with hits and defense. For Taylor Internal Medicine Jamarius Shanks led off with two hits scoring two runs. Tory Dennis and Jamund Martin scored twice off of hits.

King 15, Pace1441 3

King Building used 18 hits to beat Pace 1441 15-3 on May 19. Kyle Stewart had four hits followed by Austin Anderson, Conner Henderson, Joey Raybon and Carmaine Hudson with three hits each while Javoris Posey and Quindarius Young with one hit each. Anderson and Raybon had four RBI’s each. For Pace 1441 Jacobe Relph, Mark Black and BeMageyo Johnson had two hits each followed by Artquis Smith, Timothy Moorer, Devante Moorer and James Wells with one hit each.

Selma Trophy 13, Carquest 3

Jesse Harris had three runs and Prince James and Ryderius Hardy each had two runs to held lead Selma Trophy to a 13-3 win on May 21. For Carquest Kendal Smith, Brumley Olgesby and Casey Pullom each had one run.

King Building 6, Ross Plumbing 5

Austin Anderson had two runs and Conner Henderson, Joey Raybon, Jerome Mance and Javarious Posey all had one run each to help lead King Building to their win on May 21. In the sixth inning, Joey Raybon hit a double with two outs to score Austin Anderson and Conner Henderson which tied the game at 5. Carmane Hudson hit a single to score Raybon and win the game. For Ross Plumbing, Woodrow Watts had two runs and laborion Eaton, Antonio Sanders and Vincent Ellis all had one run each.

Cahaba 17, Pace 1441 7

Abram Dudley and Martarious Sander had three runs each and Lane Warren, Tekove Wilson and Devonte Rembert each had two runs to lead Cahaba Furniture to their 17-7 win over Pace 1441 on May 21. For Pace 1441 Artquis Smith and Devante Moorer each had two runs.

13-and 14-year old

HealthMark 13, Pepsi 9

Andrew Green had two singles, Justin Foman had 3 singles and Justin McAfee had two singles and a double to help lead HealthMark to their win over Pepsi on May 19. For Pepsi Johnny Watts had two singles, LaQuinten Gunn and Darrius Hyatt each had a single and Josh Wyatt had a double.
