Essie M. Chaney, age 101, a resident of Minter, Alabama, died March 3, 2005 at a local nursing home. Services are scheduled to be held on March 14, 2005 at 1p.m. at the Chapel of J.H. Williams and Sons. Services will be officiated by Minister Frank Moorer.

Burial will take place in Fairlawn Memorial Garden. Sevices will be directed by J.H. Williams and Son Funeral Home.
