Maxine Jane Hughen

Maxine Jane Hughen, 89, died Friday, Dec. 17 in a local nursing home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Titus Baptist Church in Titus.

Mrs. Hughen is the widow of Forrest Everett Hughen. She is survived by her son Lawrence (Larry) Hughen of Selma and his wife Pat; her brother, Sherrod Harry and his wife Leo; five grandchildren, Amanda Paullin Hughen Jackson and her husband John, Lowell Harry Hughen Jr. and his wife Laura, Lewis Everett Hughen, Brett Patrick Hughen and John Christopher Hughen.

Other survivors are two great-grandchildren, Lowell Harry Hughen III and Everett Lane Hughen and a daughter-in-law Jan Hughen.

Mrs. Hughen’s son Lowell Harry Hughen predeceased her.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, at Leak Memory Funeral Home, Montgomery.
