Stephanie Ann Howard Hartley
Stephanie Ann Howard Hartley, 38, of Selma, died Saturday, November 20, 2004, at a local hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, at Ebenezer M.B. Church, 1406 LeGrande St. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Gardens Cemetery
with Miller Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include her husband, John M. Hartley; parents, Willie C. and Frankie L. Howard; one sons, Marcus T. Harley; one daughter, Jasmine S. Holmes; two brothers, Nathaniel R. Howard and Anthony D. Howard; four sisters, Glenda F. Howard, Willie Mae Howard, Jacqueline D. Howard and Jenetta R. Howard; four nephews, Markese Bell, LaMark Howard, Nathaniel Bell and Antonious Watts; six nieces, Quantaniek Howard, Shatavia Howard, Ja’Maesha Howard, Ja’Meria Watts, Monlfah Bell and JiKarryon Ellis; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Hannah McGuire, 90, of Selma, died Monday, November 22, 2004, at a local hospital.
Services will be held at 12 noon Saturday, November 27, at St. Paul Methodist Church with the Rev. Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.
Laura Ann Williams
Laura Ann Williams, 64, of Selma, died Saturday, November 20, 2004, at a Birmingham hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Potter Station, with the Rev. D.M. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.
Ludie Cole Jr.
Ludie Cole Jr., 63, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Marion, died Saturday, November 20, 2004, in Chicago.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Miller Funeral Home.
Rosa Hobbs
Rosa Hobbs, 90, of Orrville, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at
her home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Miller Funeral Home.
Walter B. Hamm
Walter Bert Hamm, 80, died Thursday, November 25, 2004, at his home.
Services are at 2p.m., Saturday, November 27, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Pat Grindle officiating.
Mr. Hamm is survived by his wife, Louise Hamm; three sons, Walter (Linda) Hamm, Steve Hamm, and Mike Hamm: two daughters, Linda (Floyd) Dozier and Shirley Underwood; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Family visitation was Friday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Vera Bell Hollingsworth
Vera Bell Hanson Hollingsworth, 85, died Thursday November 25, 2004,
in a local nursing home. Graveside services were 11 a.m, Saturday November 27, at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev Glen Smith officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hollingsworth is survived by her faithful friends, Doris Morgan, Lois Morgan, Dorothy Morgan, sister-in-law, Jessie Nelson; nephews, Walter H Hollingsworth and his wife Susan, John E Hollingsworth and his wife Linda, and her cousin, Oda Drinkard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hollingsworth, and her son, Thomas Hollingsworth.
Rosa Lee McIntosh Hobbs
Rosa Lee McIntosh Hobbs, 90, of Orrville, died Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at her residence.
Services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, at Freedom Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Rembert officiating. Burial followed at Fairlawn Cemetery with Miller Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one brother, Will (Miriam) McIntosh, Jr. of Durham, N.C.; three sisters, Carrie Lee Coleman of Orrville; Victoria (Sampson) Cotton, Jr. of Montgomery; and Mary E. McIntosh of Nashville; two grandchildren, Carol and Laura Hobbs.
Mrs. Hobbs was the wife of the late James E. Hobbs.
Pallbearers were favorite niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
Elmira Alison
Elmire Alison died Friday, November 26, 2004.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. on November 29, at Grace Episcopal Church at Mt. Meigs.
Visitation is one and half hours prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Episcopal Church Cemetery in Carlowville.
Survivors include her husband, Montgomery Wingfield Alison; daughter, Anna Grace (Van) Alison Smith of Prattville; sons, Wink (Carol) Alison Jr. of Winnsboro, La., Sam (Loron) Alison of South Pasadena, Ca., Clyde (Audrey) Alison of Pike Road; sister, Margaret Arnold of Church Hill, Tenn.
The family requests donations be made in her memory to the Salvation Army at 900 Bell Street in Montgomery.
