Clayton Morrow Jr.
Clayton Morrow Jr., 55, of Plantersville, died Sunday, October 17, 2004, at a Selma hospital.
Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 23, at Plantersville Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Tillis officiating. Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his mother, Doris Morrow; three sons, Clayton Morrow III, Travis Morrow and Cedric Morrow; one daughter, Dara Morrow; four grandchildren; one sister-in-law; one niece; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers were Andrew McGhee, Michael McGhee, Ceasar McGhee, William Peoples, Ike Marzette and Horis Robinson.
Mr. Morrow served was a veteran, he served in Viet Nam.
John Hardy
John Hardy, 88, of Selma, died Oct. 23, 2004, in Montgomery. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Walker Mortuary.
Eula Mescal Kratzer Hale
Eula Mescal Kratzer Hale, 91, of Thomaston, formerly of Magnolia, died Sunday, October 17, 2004, at a Demopolis hospital.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, at Thomaston Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Percy officiating and O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one sister, Voncille Murphy; one sister-in-law, Frances Hale Boozer of Thomaston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Hale, one brother, Frank M. Kratzer, and one sister, Grace Parker.
Active pallbearers were Jerry Etheridge, Ty Parker, William Parker, Jamie Carroll, Edward Carroll and Andy Kratzer.
