After four-months of investigation, Dallas County Sheriff’s investigators are no closer to finding a runaway teen named Nikki Coleman.
Coleman reportedly ran away from her home at 107 Highway 219 sometime around July 8 and her family has not seen or heard from her since.
“We’ve checked all the information we got about where she could be, but it always came too late,” said Dallas County Sheriff’s investigator Jebb Harrison.
For the past few weeks, Harrison has not received any new leads in the case and finds himself stuck.
“We do know that she is still in this area,” Harrison said. “Her mother noticed some of Nikki’s clothes went missing, so we believe she came home at one point to get clothes and made a couple of phone calls.”
Harrison added that it seems Nikki has not been in contact with her former friends, but she has been spotted “all over town.”
“We have received information that she could be driving a black or blue Nissan Maxima with a Florida tag or an older model brown Chevy Celebrity,” Harrison said.
Investigators also believe Nikki could be staying in the 1500-1700 block of Alabama Avenue, Doherty Street behind Old Photo Corner Building, the area of Felix Heights Apartments, and possibly around local motels.
Anyone with information about Nikki’s whereabouts should contact the Sheriff’s Department at 874-2530.
