Rebecca Hillman Johnston Caine
Rebecca Hillman Johnson Caine, 86, of Hoover, died Saturday, September 25, 2004, at her home.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Mallory Wheat officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include sons, Vincent Caine and Michael Caine both of Hoover; granddaughter, Nancy Caine (Stan) Wilkinson of Linden; great-granddaughter, Nichole Wilkinson, Cheyan Wilkinson and Christopher Wilkinson all of Linden.
Active pallbearers are family members.
Mary E. Crumpton
Mary E. “Peggy” Crumpton, 75, of Selma, died Thursday, September 23, 2004, at her home.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 26, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Medline Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include son, James S. “Jimmy” Barganier; daughter, LaRue Barganier (Mike) Rougeau; grandchildren, Naomi and Carl Rougeau.
Active pallbearers were Harvey Clapp, Clem Clapp, Lynn Green, Allen Colburn, Art Nichols and Danny Ferguson.
James B. Seymore
James B. Seymore, 69 of Selma, AL passed away Friday, September 23, 2004 at a local hospital.
Visitation was held Sunday evening at Selma Funeral Home. The funeral was Monday, September 27, 2004 in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Stover and Rev. Ron Schultz officiating.
Interment took place in Pineview Memory Gardens. With Selma Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include a son, James Burkey “Burk” Seymore Jr. of Sana Rosa Beach, FL; Two daughters, Rita Kaye (Tom) Richardson of Alabaster, AL, and Linda Faye (Marcus) Tuck of Selma. Two brothers, Wallace (Lorane) Seymore of Birmingham, and John (Nell) Seymore of Gurley, AL. Two sisters, Sarah (Leo) Rush of Selma and Maggie Seymore of Spartanburg, SC. Three grandchildren, Lauren Richardson, Haley Richardson and Shane Tuck. One great grandson, Austin Rouse.
Pallbears were Douglas Coates, Edgar Calloway, John Dykes, Tom Richardson, Shane Tuck, and Butch Bowman.
