Southside beats Central

Running back Tony Myles Jr. rushed 17 times for 135 yards and the Southside High Panthers beat Hayneville Central, 44-6 Friday night to run their record to 4-0.
Myles scored Southside’s opening touchdown to put the Panthers ahead 7-0.
Eric Williams followed with the Panthers’ second touchdown to extend the margin to 14-0 after the first period.
Southside continued its domination in the second quarter.
Jeffery Anderson caught a 23-yard scoring toss from quarterback Rickey Monico to put the Panthers ahead 21-0.
Jamarcus Hardy added a 5-yard touchdown run to give the Panthers an insurmountable 28-0 halftime lead.
Hardy picked up where he left off in the third quarter when he shook and juked his way in for an 8-yard scoring run. Monico threw the 2-point conversion to Ali Thomas.
Anderson scored on a 23-yard run with six minutes left in the third and Myles added the 2-point conversion.
Southside will have its hands full in trying to stay unbeaten next week.
The Panthers will be on the road Friday night to face unbeaten Demoplis, which has not been scored upon this season.
