Michael A. Coats, 38, of Forkland, died August 26, 2004, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 1:30 p.m. at the Birdine AME Zion Church in Forkland. The Rev. Perry Phillips will serve as pastor and the Rev. Hence Coats as Eulogist. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The remains will repose at the church on Tuesday, at 12:30 p.m.

Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors are entrusted with arrangements.

Teresa B. Taylor

Teresa B. Taylor, 43, Plantersville, died Saturday, August 28, 2004, at a local hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Taylor, Plantersville; son, Charles Levi Taylor; daughter, Elizabeth Louise Taylor, all of Plantersville; mother, June Brewer, Selma; five brothers, Pat Brewer, Plantersville; Ricky Brewer, Wetumpka; Dickie Brewer, Selma; Steve Brewer, Selma, Micky Brewer, Selma; five sisters, Patsy Ann Hammitt, Wetumpka; Kathy Long, Wetumpka; Barbara Gilmore, Selma; Emma Lee Anderson Selma; and Linda Langston, Selma.

Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Selma Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home. The Rev. Linda Talbert will officiate and Selma Funeral Home will direct. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.
