Robert Henry Allen

Robert “Bob” Henry Allen, 64, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at his home.

Memorial services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 24, at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson, Tenn., with the Rev. Junior Hutsell officiating.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Linda Allen of Jackson, Tenn.; one son, Carl Leslie Allen and wife Susan of Horseshoe bay, Texas; two step-daughters, Misti Boykin of Mountain Grove, Mo., and Sarah Berry of Graff, Mo.; one step-son, Eric Skaggs and wife Tabby of Manes, Mo.; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Allen of Winchester, Ky.; three sisters, Daphryn Crew of Montgomery, Betty Istre and husband Dean of Baton Rouge, La. and Karen McHugh and husband Tommy of Orrville; two brothers, Joe Allen and wife Betty of Selma, and Timothy Allen and wife Maggie of Jackson, Tenn.; three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Alexander Allen and a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Allen.

Mr. Allen was born on August 27, 1939 in Toxey, the son of the late H.B. and Jewel Mabel Oates Allen.
