Selma could learn from ‘Lion King’

To the editor:
The story of the Lion King reveals an important lesson concerning Selma’s mayoral election. When Mafassa was king the kingdom was peaceful, prosperous, and blessed. But when Scar took over things became desolate, bleak, and the hyenas moved in.
We must keep Mayor Perkins in another term. Do not let Hisel and his hyenas take over. Selma is finally becoming progressive after freeing herself from
Smitherman. Let’s not go backwards 30 years, but build together with Perkins. Don’t split the black vote! White folks, don’t vote for Hisel because he is white, vote Perkins because it is right.
