Robert Eugene Raine

Robert Eugene Raine, 73, of Selma, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at his home.

Services are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 21, at the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with the Rev. Guy Anderson and the Rev. Jerry Henry officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Rosalind Sims Raine; three daughters, Jule (Terry) Booker and Gena (Michael) Williamson of Selma and Marybeth (Greg) Stone of Brentwood, Tenn.; one sister, Ann (Billy) Hughes of Selma; and five grandchildren, George Robert Booker, Robert Stone, Greg Stone Jr., MaryRaine Stone and Carly Rose Williamson.

Mr. Raine was preceded in death by an infant son, Jamie Raine.

Active pallbearers are Jeff Bright, Todd Livesay, Gary Wilson, Joe Moore, Tim Williamson and Roger Katts.

Honorary pallbearers are members of Roy Davis Sunday School Class at Elkdale Baptist Church.

Family will receive friends at the Raine’s home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.

Mr. Raine was committed to a lifetime of service to the community and Carter Drug Co. for 43 years.

Roy Lee Myles

Roy Lee Myles, 42, of Selma, died Thursday, July 15, 2004, at a local hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home.

Sam Thomas

Sam Thomas, 75, of Minter, died Saturday, July 17, 2004.

Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Pine Flat Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery with Bell Funeral Home directing.
