Delois Wilson

Delois Wilson, 49, of Marietta, GA formerly of Alabama, died on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at home.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Shady Grove M.P.

Survivors include husband, Lindsey Wilson; parents, Eddie Mae Wilson and Matthew Wilson; daughters, Glenda Rena Wilson, Nancy Wilson; four brothers, Donnie Savage, Lonnie Savage, Luvert Savage, Michael Savage; three sisters, Melinda Savage, Terri Hildreth, Virgina Savage; eight grandchildren; one brother-in-law, three sister-in-laws; host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Aruther Larry, Michael Savage, John Edward Savage, Donnie Savage, Luvert Savage and Lawrence Savage.

Louise Richardson

Louise Richardson, 83, of White Hall, AL, died on Tuesday, June 22, 2004.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 11 a.m. from the Unity Baptist Church with Rev. White officiating and Bell Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Gene Milton Hooks

Gene Milton Hooks, 68, of Montgomery, AL, died on Sunday, June 27, 2004.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at 11 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Wood officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Survivors include sister, Doris Maxine Howell; grandson, Joseph Waters; nephews, Ronnie (Faye) Howell of Robertsdale, AL, Phillip (Lisa) Howell, Gary (Tenesa) Howell, Kenneth (Wayen) Howell all of Selma; several great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hooks was preceded in death by his mother, Esta Lee Hall Hooks, father, T.J. Lawson Hooks, daughter, Jeanne Carol Waters and brother, Marion Lawson Hooks.

Keith Creel

Keith Creel, 75, of Willow Springs Drive, North Augusta, S.C. died on Monday, June 28, 2004.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 1 at 10 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 from 7-9 p.m.

Survivors include wife, Marie Maske Creel; daughter, Joni Creel Bohacheff of North Augusta; two brothers, Gerald R. Creel of Selma and Stewart Creel of Lawley, AL; four sisters, Gladys Moore of Lawley, AL, Evelyn Parton of Selma, Yvonne Roberts of Orrville and Edith McKay of Fayetteville, TN.

Pallbearers will be Michael Maske, Harold Maske, Ray Maske, Rick Parton, Andy Parton, John Wingard and Gary Pierson.

Mr. Creel was a native of Selma, AL, having made North Augusta his home for the past two years. He was a member of the Belvedere First Baptist Church and a former member of the Northside Baptist Church of Selma. Mr. Creel was a retired assistant cashier at the People’s Bank and Trust of Selma and an U.S. Air Force Veteran. An avid bowler, he was a member of the Senior League of Northside Lanes, North Augusta.

Eartha Lee Craig

Eartha Lee Craig of Selma, died on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at a local hospital.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 12 noon at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. F.D. Reese officiating and Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the late Junior Craig; two step-daughters, Clemetine Savage and Earnestine Williams; one sister, Arsla Anna Marshall; one brother, Henry Herron; nephew, Robert Todd.

Survivors include three step-daughters, Nancy L. Rashada and Jessie M. Craig both of Bellflower, CA, Mary E. Drayton of Anniston, AL; one sister, Ruby Gordon of Mobile, AL; two nieces, Pearlie Mae Todd of Mobile and Minnie Mae Gilmore of Morvin, AL, Janice (Willie) Malone of Mobile, AL, four son-in-laws, Iram Rashada, Charles Chambliss, Jr., Willie Savage, Willie Williams; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; neighbor, Willie Mae Reese of Selma; a friend, Sister Mattie Fails of Selma, AL. host of other nieces, nephews and relatives.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of church.
