Celebration! was organized by Judy Reed, an assistant children’s librarian, and Gordon Welch, First Baptist minister of music who is directing. Also present will be native Selmian, Kevin Derryberry of Alabaster, a Christian recording artist who opened his studio for the recording of the CD and who composed – and will sing with the chorus – an original song for the occasion.
