James Samuel Bracknell

James Samuel Bracknell, 82, of Selma, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, at a local hospital.

Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at Fairview Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include his wife, Cordelia T. Bracknell of Selma; son, John S. Bracknell of Brent; daughter, Brenda Bracknell (Earl) Taylor of Prattville; brothers, L.V. (Lois) Bracknell of Centreville and Thomas (Pauline) Bracknell of Duncanville; sisters, Nell Jones of Selma, Bertha Mae Sheppard of Connecticut and Jo Ann Stone of Tuscaloosa.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, at Lawrence Funeral Home.
