Wallace drops two games

It’s been a long season for the Patriots of Wallace Community College-Selma and it showed in the double losses to Wallace-Dothan.
The score of the games were 11-0 and 13-1.
In the first game the Patriots had chances to score in the first three innings, but left two men on base in the first two innings and left one on in the third.
Meanwhile, the Governors scored in all five innings of the game except the fourth.
They pushed one across in the first, and added five more in the second that included a three run homer off the bat of Brad Watford.
The Gov’s then scored four in the fifth that included a homerun with one on by Blake Green.
The line score of the game for Wallace-Selma was no runs, four hits, three errors and five left on base.
Eric Wilkerson continued his season long hitting, singled twice for the Patriots. Hakeem Rice and Jeffrey Graham each contributed a single.
The second game started where it ended in the first game for Wallace-Dothan as they opened up with four runs in the first inning and one in the second.
The Patriots scored their only run of the game in the third on a triple to deep centerfield by Graham with Zachary Knight on base.
Wallace-Dothan came right back in the fourth to put across eight runs, including a grandslam from Watford to put the game away.
The totals for Wallace-Selma were one run, four hits, five errors, and five left on base.
The other three Patriot hits came off the bat of Blake Harris,
Jay Siggers, and Wilkerson.
