Morgan’s girls tennis team traveled to Luverne and downed Crenshaw Academy, 11-0.

Elaine Song, Bebe Bostick, Katie Taylor, Julianna Ratcliff, Caroline Woodruff, Amy McGucken, Elizabeth Elliott, Shelly Utsey and Lauren Jones were all winners.

The district tournament will be played Monday, April 26 in Selma.

On Wednesday, the Morgan girls lost to Ft. Dale in Greenville.

Katie Taylor, Kate Cothran and Shelly Utsey won.

Elaine Long, Bebe Bostick, Julianna Ratcliff, Caroline Woodruff, Alex Parker and Amy McGucken

lost.

In doubles Song/Bostick and Elliott/Ratcliff each lost.

In the boys played Ft. Dale on Thursday.

Drew Pomeroy and Mark Mosley won. Rhett Rhyne, Houston Searcy, Cain Summerville, Kyle Brignac and Robert Sommerville lost.

The doubles team of Pomeroy/Searcy won while Rhyne/Sommerville lost.

On Monday, the Morgan girls lost to Monroe Academy, 10-3.

Kate Cothran, Elizabeth Elliott and Shelly Ustey won. Song. Bostick, Taylor, Ratcliff, Woodruff, Parker, McGucken and Lauren Jones lost.

In doubles play, Song/Bostick and Taylor Elliott both lost.

For the boys, Rhett Rhyne, Drew Pomeroy, Kyle Brignac and Alex Parker won.

Houston Searcy, Cain Sommerville, Mark Mosely, Ben Rich and Kirk Cogle lost.

In double’s play, Rhyne/C. Sommerville lost while Pomeroy/Searcy won.
