At 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, the Selma Fire Department was called to a residence at 107 County Road 992, off of Matthew Lane outside the Selma City limits.
There wasn’t much they could do. The trailer was fully engulfed and was a total loss.
No one was home at the time of the blaze according to witnesses, a neighbor saw the smoke and called in the report.
There was some dispute over the time it took the SFD to respond.
The owner of the trailer said they had taken too long, but the official documentation Stokes had from E-911 said it took only nine minutes.
