Morgan Academy’s Lady Senators beat Fort Dale, 9-0, Tuesday.

The win put the Ladies at 3-0 in the AISA area and 6-10 overall.

Laura Whitney Bennett was the winning pitcher, giving up only three hits throughout the game.

Bennett also led Morgan’s scoring efforts, going three-for-four with a homerun, double and a single.

Cate Gilmer hit three-for-four with a homerun and two singles.

Elizabeth Watters went two-for-three with two singles.

Elizabeth Wood, Cursey Oaks and Elizabeth Gilmer each helped the effort with a single each.

Morgan’s next game &045; an area game &045; is against Pike at Pike Thursday.
