It’s deja vu all over again for coach Joseph Pettway and his Keith Bears.

Last season in the Sub-Regional round, they traveled to Pickens County only to fall to a tough Pickens team.

This year, after banging their way through a tough schedule facing the best teams in the Black Belt, a trip to Pickens County stands between Keith and the Regional round in Mobile once again.

Lately just playing has been a little tough for the Bears.

They’ve been beaten up and they’ve compounded the problem by falling behind early.

Free throw shooting has killed the Bears down the stretch as well, playing from behind they need every point they can get at the stripe.

One thing the Bears have in their favor is a brutal regular season schedule that sees them play the best teams in the area.

Led by Jimmie Richardson, Charles Jones and Jeremiah Whitt, the Bears are going to need a team effort to win.
