The Lady Saints’ only defeat this season

came in December to 5A powerhouse J.O. Johnson.

A pair of turned ankles for Selma forward Santana Seay kept her mostly out of action in the that game, but Harris’ team isn’t offering any excuses.

With senior post Kimberly Wilson in her last go round with the Saints, the team would like to win one for her and the other seniors.

The Area Tournament hosted by the Lady Saints will begin on Friday, Feb. 6 with Robert E. Lee and Carver.

Boys Tournament

Coach Willie Maxey’s Selma High boy’s team, 16-7 overall, 5-5 in the area, take on Prattville in the Boy’s

Area Tournament Saturday, Feb. 7 at Carver.

Coach Maxey’s favorite time of the year starts against an opponent the Saints split games with this season.

Coming off an emotional win on Saturday, the Saints have momentum.

Jeff Davis awaits the Selma-Prattville winner.

The Saints-Lions game will tip-off at 7 p.m.
