A sluggish third quarter let Charles Henderson hang around Saturday night at Wilcox Central. Then in the fourth quarter, 10th-ranked team in 5A finally showed up and finished of the girls of Troy, 41-30.

The Lady Jaguars have locked up their area title and will host the Area Tournament.

Coach Abraham added that since Henderson was an area opponent, it was important to send them a message for the upcoming tourney.

Shakira Arnold helped send that message with a 12 point night for Wilcox.

Angela Oates was also in double figures with 10 points.

Sheronika Finklea added eight points to the winning cause.

Kimberly Benjamin scored five points and Heather Wilson and Evelyn McConico had two points each in the winning effort.

Bridgett Dix led the Lady Trojans with seven points.
