Lady Patriots fall to the other Wallace State team

With a minute and a half left on the clock and Wallace-Hanceville beating Wallace-Selma, 98-32, a Hanceville fan watched the Lady Lions bring the ball up the court and shouted, &uot;Come on now, we need this!&uot;

It was that kind of night for the Lady Patriots.

Facing one of the best teams in the area and playing without three starters, the Lady Patriots never had much of a chance.

The only question in the end, was whether or not Hanceville would make the 100-point mark.

They did and took the win, 106-36.

Lashea Pettway led the Lady Patriots with 15 points and Theia Preston was also in double figures with 122.

Latrisha Anderson added 4 points while Kalette Mixon was good for 3 for the Lady Pats.

Harriett Barnes led the Lady Lions with 17 points.

Hanceville had four players in double figures.
